I had an idea to draw "dark wood". Question was what is the meaning of "dark wood", what plant, trees and space it have?
Then i created one mushroom and it`s look nice to me. So i draw not only one mushroom.
Some volumetric light great too.. and then all go with right way - character under mushroom with lantern and beast which is hiden and look at him (left side, bottom).

I was sketch this artwork first on a paper. Then was scaned and colored with Painter (10% work) later in Photoshop (90%).

There are problem with dark artworks, because everyone have differnet settings for contrast and brightness on monitor.
